Reviews and Ratings
Climbing the 54 steps to reach my room on the second floor was worth it as the room was quite spacious despite having a tiny half bath with a sitting ledge. The three-star hotel provided a decent room.
The hotel is situated right in the heart of the historic center and next to the amphitheater, making it a perfect location within a pedestrianized old town. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with a view of the square and the palm tree, although the decor is a bit dull and lacks adequate lighting. The service provided was exceptionally kind and helpful, with great recommendations for nearby dining options. The proximity to various restaurants and cafes adds to the charm. The dining experience was delightful, featuring traditional and plentiful French cuisine. However, the lively atmosphere outside can be a downside for light sleepers.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location is superb, just a stone's throw away from the amphitheatre and surrounded by lively restaurants and cafes. The rooms, despite being a climb of 54 steps, were worth it with a great view and excellent air conditioning. The service was top-notch, with staff humoring my attempts at French and offering fantastic dinner recommendations. The dining options were diverse, although slightly on the pricier side. Overall, a fantastic value for the proximity to everything Nimes has to offer.
